It’s for good reason that Travel & Leisure named San Miguel de Allende its 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2021 #1 city in the world. This is an enchanting destination that feels, in the best of ways, frozen in time. And UNESCO, having conferred upon San Miguel its status as a protected World Heritage Site, has preserved its magic for future generations to enjoy.
Considered by many to be the cultural and artistic capital of Mexico, it is the quality of light in this high-desert oasis, along with its beautiful Tuscan colors, its historical colonial architecture, its cobble-stone streets, its over-flowing bougainvilleas, and its exceedingly warm locals that begin to define its world-renowned appeal.
For decades ex-pats from the Americas and Europe have been drawn to the vibrancy, tranquility, grand flavors and ease-fullness that penetrates the soul here. Come join Desiree and Andrew, along with other like-minded yogis, in their home for a Spring Break that is sure to warm your heart and nourish your body.
Extra-curricular activities include: enjoying creative and authentic Mexican cuisine, shopping in artisans markets, observing cultural events/weddings/parades/dances in the central square, visiting hot springs, going out on the town for live music and theater, horseback riding, hot air balloons, wine tasting, or just wandering the streets and discovering what unfolds.

Week 1: After class on Wednesday, you can choose to either have professional skeleton makeup done or do it yourself if you like. In the evening, we will attend and participate in the local parade festivities. There’s nothing quite like the Dia De Los Muertos celebration. It’s a combination of a somber and playful contemplation of the nature of Life and Death.
Due to high demand we have added a second week:
Week 2: begins with enjoying the parade with participants from the first week on November 1. After that you will practice with us twice a day, November 2-5 with a final class on the morning of November 6.
The price is $500 which includes one lunch together at our home. During your free time, you can explore all the beauty the city has to offer.
Everyone finds their own accommodations at local hotels or air b and b’s. This is a very small walkable town and we live in the Centro.
